If you have a project idea please send it to us here. Past projects have included: AIRLINE PARK ELEMENTARY * Working in the gardens around campus and building benches. AUDUBON ELEMENTARY * Working on projects around the school for general upkeep, maintenance, and school improvements. CHATEAU ELEMENTARY Working on projects around the school for general upkeep, maintenance, and school improvements. HAYNES ACADEMY Painting doors, pressure wash the school, repair chain link fence and various garden projects around the campus. RUDOLPH MATIS ELEMENTARY * Working on projects around the school for general upkeep, maintenance, and school improvements. ANIMAL RESCUE NEW ORLEANS (ARNO) Cleaning cages, walking dogs, and cleaning the facility at Animal Rescue New Orleans. Must be 15 years or older. CHATEAU LIVING CENTER - AGES 10+ Spending time with the residents of Chateau Living Center and bringing treats to the workers at the nurses’ station. FAMILY HOUSE Building storage shelves, organizing supplies and painting doors at Family House in Terrytown. KIDS PARTY * Playing games and doing crafts with kids from the Treme area at City Park. LAWN CUTTING Going to homes of people in Kenner that are in need of yard work to help with their lawn care and cleanup. LINCOLN MANOR General clean-up and painting at the playground in the Lincoln Manor subdivision. MERCY RESPONSE WAREHOUSE Performing various work projects around our relief warehouse in Mississippi. These jobs include painting trailers, maintenance on power tools, cleaning appliances, etc. MISSISSIPPI VEGETABLE GARDEN * We have a produce garden, in Mississippi, in order to provide fresh vegetables to our food pantry. This team prepares and plants 10’ x 100’ garden beds. OCHSNER VEGGIE GARDEN * We have launched a community garden in partnership with Ochsner Kenner building raised garden beds and plant seeds. RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE Preparing and serving dinner to families staying at Ronald McDonald House. *KID FRIENDLY |
