Kids Ministries

IT TAKES HUNDREDS OF VOLUNTEERS
to provide us with the opportunity to gather like we do on the weekends. The overwhelming majority of these volunteers work with our kids. Which is why we are always looking for and recruting volunteers to help with every area of our kids programs.

VINEYARD KIDS
We have specific guidelines that we follow to provide not only a safe environment for our kids, but also to provide a fun experience where each child can receive the care and attention they need to learn about God's love and what it means to follow him. We have several areas in which to serve from teachers to helpers, or maybe you're interested in leading worship or being a story teller in the Chat Shack. We also provide a Parent Co-Op where parents are scheduled to volunteer throughout the year. One of the most exciting things about the Parent Co-Op is that parents are learning about Jesus and what it means to be a Christian as they teach their own kids.

SUPERCHURCH
is a fun, high-energy place for first through third graders to learn about Jesus. We are always looking for volunteers to help on the weekends - teachers, greeters, helpers, and small group leaders.  We also have other events througout the year like Alpha, Vacation Bible School (VBS), and outreaches where we need volunteers to help coordinate, lead, and teach.

CLUB456
Fourth through sixth graders gather every weekend to grow upward, inward, and outward together. Our amazing volunteers can serve on our Worship team, become a teacher, or just help out during our weekend gatherings.  We have lots of opportunities for you to serve throughout the year outside of weekend gatherings too: Summer Blast, TNT: Tuesday Nights Together, outreaches, Christmas Party and more! Come be a part of it!

STUDENT LIFE
Time spent in Student Life consists of hanging out, chatting, drinking coffee, eating tootsie rolls, and listening to very loud music!  Who wouldn't love that? Our teenagers gather on weekends and have midweek events throughout the year. Our volunteers aren't necessarily working any major miracles by hanging out with students, but we know that God will take the little they do and turn it into something completely amazing that he has instore for these kids.

If you're interested in learning more about how you can volunteer with our kids, please fill out this form.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
  • You must love kids! (or at least like them a little bit)
  • You don't even need to be a parent! All adults regardless of age, marital status, or whether you have kids or not are welcome to serve our kids.
  • All parents of infants through kindergardners are asked to join the Parent Co-Op.
  • We perform a background check and require anyone working with kids to go through a safety training.
  • While we encourage all volunteers to investigate membership, any volunteer working in a teaching position is required to be a Covenant Member of the Vineyard.
